This is the Call
I am telling you, Goddess--YOU ARE BEING CALLED.
You are not a bystander.
You are NEEDED.
But not "needed" in the "give me everything you have and then continue to give me more even though you are tired and depleted and have nothing left" kind of needed. NO.
NO. NO. NO.
You are needed in the, "My cup is FILLED and I KNOW WHO I AM and I KNOW WHAT I WANT. I am giving to your from a place of overflowing" kind of way.

What do you think when you read that?
A lot of women who read that think, "WTF--that is not even possible. Don't be filling my heart with this fantasy."
Maybe you think some kind of version of that, too.
BECAUSE--WE LIVE IN A WORLD THAT BURNS US OUT. WE ARE SOOOOOOO TIRED.
Just simply existing as a woman in this culture is f**king exhausting.
We work in the house. We work out of the house. We do a shitload of emotional labor in our relationships. Strangers tell us to, "SMILE!" We speak up and yet we aren't heard. We are told we are too much. We are told we are not enough. We are told to be sexy. We are told we are too sexy. We walk to our car in the parking lot with keys in between our fingers and all sense on alert.
And if you're a woman of color
A disabled woman
A trans woman...
...then add racism, microaggressions, ablism, and transphobia to the list of things that assault and deplete you daily...
We have been living in a world for thousands of years that denies, subjugates, oppresses, demoralizes, disparages and negates the Feminine.
As my friend, Blue Russ says--we have been flying with one wing. And we are failing. We are flailing.
The Feminine prioritizes

Growth through nurturing

Intuition
-
Empathy
-
Creativity
-
Community
-
Consensus
-
Engaging emotionally
It takes only a glance at this list to know that the Patriarchal Masculine disparages these qualities.
