I recently asked Dechelle Damian from NYC to share her story with my readers. This is what she wrote:

I was introduced to Elijah through a great friend, Lisa Skye Hain. Lisa had been sending these emails on a program that she was doing and how awesome Elijah was, etc. It looked interesting but I always had an excuse of why now wasn't the right time. At that point in my life, I was feeling pretty crappy physically. Although I had lost some weight after having my daughter a few years back, I was still pushing close to 200lbs. I wasn't eating anywhere near a healthy diet and was feeling pretty gross most of the time. Unhappy with my body, unhappy with the constant heavy feeling in my stomach and probably crankier than I should have been. I was also at a point of being really unhappy with myself and my willpower and nervous of what my future would be. I had a then, 2 1/2 year old daughter and I was pushing 43.
